Perth turned on a stunning sunny winter weekend for the WA Day festival that was held at Elizabeth Quay over the long weekend.

We were contracted by Harvey Beef to design their food stall for the Urban Providore area at the festival.  Our brief was to create a functional 6m x 3m space where they could have serving counters, room to cook on BBQ’s, custom designed Menu board and sufficient branding throughout.

We created a false wall to the back of the space using pallets and custom designed and printed signage to go over this.  A door way space was left so that staff could access equipment and fridges that were behind.  The wall also hid these from the view of the general public. 

In front of the wall we needed to create a space for the BBQ’s where the chef’s would be cooking live in front of patrons.  We also wanted to hide this equipment so a fascia wall was built around it so the chef’s could be seen but the equipment not.

In front of this there was a long counter space for service including benches for tills and counter top for food to go on.  This wall was all clad in custom designed and printed fascias as well.

There were logistical challenges dealing with the small pop up marquee that we had to work under but our crew worked tirelessly in the lead up to ensure the design was flexible and adaptable on the day.  Harvey Beef gave great feedback and we look forward to creating their next booth for the upcoming Good Food and Wine Show in July!
